Heist System
Six crew heists that unlock one after another, with tools from the contacts and loot sold for dirty money.
Six heists for crews. A new character only knows the first one; finishing a heist reveals the next contact. A card on screen always tells the crew what to do next, and a buyer pays dirty money for the loot.
The heists
| # | Heist | Police | Cooldown | Pay per run (crew) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kidnapping | 2 | ~8 min | $6,000 |
| 2 | Art Heist | 3 | 30 min | ~$16,000 |
| 3 | Vangelico Jewelry Heist | 3 | 60 min | ~$30,000 |
| 4 | Pacific Standard Heist | 5 | 120 min | ~$70,000 |
| 5 | Humane Labs Heist | 4 | 60 min | $60,000 + gold and diamonds |
| 6 | Train Heist | 4 | 60 min | $80,000 |
How it works
Unlock the next contact
Kidnapping's contact is on the map from the start. When a crew finishes a heist, every crew member gets the next contact on their map. Progress is saved per character. Four contacts wait on Cayo Perico.
Buy the tools
Press E at the contact and choose Buy tools (dirty money). Everyday tools — bag, cutter and laptop — come from the Pawn Shop (see Shops). Bring your own guns and a car.
Take the job
Choose Take the job. Anyone who walks into the heist area joins the crew (for Kidnapping, the crew is the players standing at the boss when the job is taken). You can only be on one heist at a
time, and only one crew can run a heist at once. An unfinished heist is cancelled after 60 minutes. You cannot use /relog (change character) while you are on a heist crew.
Follow the card, sell the loot
The card and the map markers show each step. The police get an alert during every heist. Take the loot to the buyer (money bag icon); selling finishes the heist. Wash the dirty money with Benny.

Admin Quick Test
Each heist page has the full walkthrough: Kidnapping, Art, Vangelico, Pacific, Humane Labs, Train. The shared setup is the same for all:
- Police online. Every player with the
policejob counts, you included. Put other players on police with/setjob <their id> police 0until you reach the heist's number (Kidnapping 2, Art 3, Vangelico 3, Humane Labs 4, Train 4, Pacific 5). For a solo test, lowerrequiredPoliceCountto0in that heist's config, restart mvx_heists, and set it back afterwards. - Unlock the heist. A character only knows Kidnapping. To test a later heist straight away use
/heistunlock <player id> <heist>with the numeric server id (notme) and one ofkidnapping, artheist, vangelico, pacific, humanelabs, trainheist, orall./heistunlock <player id> resetputs the character back to Kidnapping only. You see "Heist progress for player X: ..." and the contact appears on the map. - Check a locked contact. Teleport to a contact you have not unlocked, for example
/tp -846.42 -1307.50 5.00(Vangelico). It says "I don't know you. Finish your earlier jobs and the word will get around." — that is correct. - Reset. After testing, run
restart mvx_heistsin the console: all cooldowns and running heists are cleared.
If it doesn't work: "not enough police" means fewer players with the police job than the number above. "Someone is already on this job" or a cooldown message means another run is going or just ended — restart mvx_heists.
