Customers
How a player orders paint, wheels, performance and other work at an owned mechanic shop.
What it is
At an owned shop like GearHead Customs, customers pick their work in a mod menu, pay, and a mechanic installs it.
How it works
Drive into a bay
Stop in one of the customer bays at GearHead Customs (Davis, map icon) and press E (Customise vehicle).
Pick what you want
Choose from Repair, Performance, Cosmetics, Stance, Respray, Wheels, Neon lights, Headlights, Tyre smoke, Bulletproof tyres and Extras. Every choice is shown on your car. Prices follow your car's value (about 1% of it per category at GearHead); higher levels cost more. Press Ctrl for a free camera.
Place the order
Choose Place Order and pay by cash or bank. The money goes to the shop's account. You see "Your Order Has Been Placed".
A mechanic installs it
A mechanic opens your order on the tablet and installs the parts on your car. If a manager deletes the order, you get your money back in full.
There is no self-service repair at GearHead, even with nobody on duty: ask a mechanic, or use a repair kit.

Setup
- Money:
/giveaccountmoney me bank 20000. A car:/car sultan.
Order
- Teleport to a GearHead customer bay:
/tp 72.09 -1772.03 29.29. Park the car in the bay. - [E] Customise vehicle shows. Press E: the mod menu opens.
- Pick a respray and a wheel set: each shows on the car, with its price.
- Place Order, pay by bank. You see "Your Order Has Been Placed" and your bank goes down by the total.
Result
- As the boss (
/setjob me mechanic 4), open/tablet(/giveitem me mechanic_tablet 1first) and log in to GearHead Customs: Work Orders lists your order and Management shows the money in the balance.
If it doesn't work: the prompt only shows inside a bay, in the driver seat. Not enough money in the chosen account refuses the order.
