Taxi
Drive a company taxi, pick up customers with /taxijob and get paid by distance.
What it is
Taxi drivers take a company taxi or limo from the Taxi Company in East Vinewood and drive NPC customers around the city. The longer the drive, the more you earn.
How it works
- Get the Taxi driver job at the job centre.
- Go to the Taxi Company and press E on the duty point (Start shift).
- At the vehicle marker press E and take a Taxi or Limo (free).
- In the driver seat type
/taxijob. A customer is marked on your map. - Pick them up and drive them to the marked stop (at least 400 m away). When you stop there, you are paid. The server picks the pickup and the drop-off, and only pays at that drop-off, in that taxi.
- Type
/taxijobagain for the next customer. Return the car and end your shift at the duty point.
Pay: the fare grows with distance. You get 80% in your bank; 20% goes to the taxi company account for the boss.

Admin Quick Test
Setup
- Give yourself the job:
/setjob me taxi 0(grade 3 is the boss). No items or money are needed. A driver's licence is not checked by the job (police can only fine you for driving without one).
Start the shift
- Teleport to the duty point:
/tp 900.58 -171.51 74.08. You see the duty marker at the Taxi Company. - Press E → Start shift.
- Walk to the vehicle marker at 916.07, -163.43, 74.68 and press E → Taxi (or Limo). The car appears, free.
A fare
- Sit in the driver seat and type
/taxijob. You see "A customer is waiting" and a blip at one of the 10 customer spots (for example 946.33, -171.74, 74.52 next to the office). - Drive to the customer and stop. They get in the back; the objective box shows the expected fare.
- Drive to the marked drop-off (at least 400 m away) and stop there.
Payout
- You see "Fare complete" and the fare goes to your bank: a random $25–85 × 2 × the distance in km. You keep 80%; 20% goes to the taxi company account. A 2 km trip pays about $100–340 before the cut.
- Type
/taxijobfor the next fare, or return the car at the vehicle marker (E) and end the shift at the duty point (E).
Boss check
/setjob me taxi 3. The taxi boss has no marker; use the jobs tablet Boss page (F3) or a Boss PC laptop placed with/bosslaptop taxi(see Boss PC System). The company balance shows the 20% cuts.
If it doesn't work: "Start your shift at the taxi office first" means you skipped step 3. "You need to be driving a company taxi" means the car is not from the taxi garage or you are not the driver.
