Car Rental
Rent a car by the hour at the airport rental desk.
What it is
Players without a car can rent one by the hour at the Car Rental desk at the airport.
How it works
Talk to the desk
Go to the Car Rental blip at the airport. Use the third eye on the desk clerk and pick Rent Vehicle.
Pick a car and hours
Choose a car, pick 1 to 6 hours and pay with cash or card. You also pay a 20% deposit.
Drive
The car spawns next to the desk with you inside. You get the keys and a rentalpapers item. Lock it with U. You get a warning 10 minutes and 1 minute before the time runs out.
Bring it back
Drive back to the same spot on time and press E in the driver seat (or talk to the desk). You get the deposit back if the car is not badly damaged.
Prices per hour: Asea $60, Sentinel $90, Bison $120, Patriot $150, Stretch $350. One rental at a time. Late or badly damaged cars are taken back and the deposit is kept.

Setup
- Type
/giveaccountmoney me money 1000.
Rent
- Type
/tp -832.92 -2351.16 14.57(Car Rental desk, airport). The clerk stands there with a clipboard. - Third eye on the clerk → Rent Vehicle. The desk lists Asea $60, Sentinel $90, Bison $120, Patriot $150 and Stretch $350 per hour, each with its deposit.
- Pick the Asea. In the checkout set Hours to 1 and pick Cash. The total is $72 ($60 rent + $12 deposit). Pay.
- The car appears at -823.35, -2342.25, 14.21 with you in the driver seat. Open your inventory with F2: Rental Papers is there.
- Get out, walk a few steps and press U. The lights flash and the car locks. Press U again to unlock.
- Talk to the clerk again: the cars are greyed out and the first button is Return my .... You can rent only one car at a time.
Return
- Drive a short loop and park back within 15 m of -823.35, -2342.25, 14.21. In the driver seat you see [E] Return the rental car.
- Press E. The car is taken back and $12 comes back to your cash.
Damage rule
- Rent again, crash the car hard (body or engine below 600 of 1000) and return it. The car is taken but the deposit is kept.
If it doesn't work: no Rent Vehicle option → you are too far from the clerk. No return prompt → park closer to the spot and sit in the driver seat. Late return → after the time runs out you get 30 seconds to get out, then the car and deposit are gone.
